Derrick: Appreciate what you’re doing here, but not sure how you can blithely say that something like “backcomb” has “no known definition”. Do you not have access to google in your neck of the woods?
Because, if you did, you’d find a multitude of references to the word. Same with “korma”.
Also: “Romcom” is a portmanteau word for “Romantic Comedy”, something well-known to TV viewers and TV Guide and Variety readers. So it is a “word”, but a made-up one. So it should probably not be included in something like the Spelling Bee.
